Tooth and Tusk
Play a T-Rex dentist. Clean voxel teeth for a hippo, an alligator and a beaver, and drain the saliva before your patient gets uncomfortable.
Wishlist Tooth and Tusk on Steam
The full game is coming to Steam in Q2 2027. A wishlist is the most useful thing you can do to help it.
This free demo runs in your browser. Treat four patients in one morning at the clinic.
Meet the clinic
Dr. Chompers is you: a T-Rex dentist. Mabel runs reception. Her first line of the day: “Tiny arms, big schedule.”
Hazel the hippo is a water gardener. Her visit teaches you to scrape plaque, clean the chewing surfaces and use the mirror to reach behind a tooth.
Arlo the alligator is a baker. He has a hard chunk stuck to a front tooth and a small chip on its edge.
Bea the beaver is a furniture maker. She has a lot to clean, and one tooth hurts when she drinks cold water.
Mr. Tooth is one large tooth with arms, legs and a face. He arrives last, covered in plaque and badly chipped.
Every patient has a voice. They flinch if you scrape a gum, and they tell you at checkout how the visit went.

New: saliva and suction
Animal mouths now fill with saliva while you work. You can see the water pool around the teeth. Hazel's mouth stays mostly dry. Arlo's and Bea's mouths need draining during their visits.
When the water gets high, Dr. Chompers tells you, and the comfort meter reads SUCTION NEEDED. Pick SUCTION from the Comfort group, raise your loupes, and hold inside the mouth until the water drains.
The whitening RINSE adds water. ISOLATE on the tooth you are working on slows the buildup. If you leave the saliva too long, the patient mentions it at checkout and again on their next visit. It does not change your fee.

Clean, repair, polish
Pull your loupes down to see each tooth up close. Scrape soft plaque, scrub tartar, and rock hard calculus until it comes loose. Repair chips, drill out decay, then fill and CURE each repair. Choose the front, top or mirror view yourself to reach every surface.
Polishing and whitening are optional and pay a bonus. Buy the whitening lamp with clinic earnings, then use GEL, LAMP and RINSE for a brighter smile. Compare Before and After at the end of each visit. Leave for reception at any time, and your unfinished care is saved.

AI disclosure
NBD2 is an AI game development studio. As a solo indie dev who is unlikely to ever make a dime from any of my games, there's no other way I could bring my ideas to life.
Tooth and Tusk was created using generative AI throughout development, including its artwork and visuals, music, sound effects, character voices, text and dialogue, and game code. All AI generation took place during development. The game does not generate AI content or code during play or connect to an external AI service.
I recognize AI in game development is an extremely sensitive topic and I appreciate both sides. I only hope the game is fun.
The goal should always be making something that human beings will enjoy.

I think the interface can be improved, I was so confused on how to look at other teeth, I feel like the player interactions all should be together on the bottom. Another comment I'd make is that the polish should take care of more blocks, it is more tedious feeling than the scrapping. Otherwise what a fun idea!! Very satisfying and creative.
Thanks for playing!
All noted. I really just want to see if I should take this project to Steam and build it out fully or focus attention on other things.
